The restoration of floodplain vegetation, as seen in these project photos, was installed by our field crew along the Kootenai River near Libby, MT. The site had been recently excavated to create a new floodplain and fish habitat and as a result, was void of riparian vegetation. Forestoration procured and planted over 5,600 plants on the site as well as installed tubes over each plant to protect them form wildlife browse. This project was coordinated by MT Fish, Wildlife, & Parks and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
