The Whitefish Trail
Forestoration has been the lead planner, designer, and construction manager of the Whitefish Trail, an on-going project that currently includes over 40 miles of recreational trails, with 12 separate trailheads providing access to this incredible amenity for the City of Whitefish. Forestoration has helped shepherd this project from its inception as a concept in 2004.
Whitefish Wooded Estate
Forestoration was approached by a private landowner with a large forested property outside of Whitefish with a request to design and build several miles of hiking trails. Bigfork Nature Trails
Forestoration was approached by the Community Foundation for a Better Bigfork to help the community plan and design a multi-use non-motorized trail network, building off of the much-loved Swan River Nature Trail. Forestoration has designed several miles of new trails, produced maps and illustrations, and developed planning and design documents for corporate landowners.
Fontenelle Forest
Forestoration began working in the incredible Fontenelle Forest in 2018. Bakke Nature Reserve
Forestoration collaborated with the City of Whitefish to create a trail through a local nature reserve. North Fork Retreat
Forestoration specializes in the long-term stewardship of conservation properties. This work often includes forest health improvement, trail design and construction, wildlife habitat improvement, revegetation, erosion control, road maintenance, and noxious weed abatement.
